As far as Im aware u plug the adapter in (and yea it's active adapter) then detect the 3 monitors then create a group an activate eyefinity I cannot get a signal to the screen thru the adapter nor can I detect the screen thru the adapter

It really has all been explained in your other thread,
You must connect one of your monitors through an active MDP to DVI adaptor, unless you have a monitor with a display port adaptor connection.
If the adaptor you have doesn't work you need to get it replaced or buy a better one.
The adaptor you have bought doesn't do the business according to reviews I've read.

Alternatively google "detect third monitor" as it seems to be a common issue

This is the type of adaptor you need,
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sapphire-Act...cp_computers_1

sapphire adaptors are usually pretty good, but I cant guarantee anything you get will work.
Try to get one you know you can return if it doesn't work.
