You would see this,
this laptop can only support one of the following combinations of hard drives/DVD/Blu-ray drives:

a) 1 x hard drive and 1 x DVD/Blu-ray drive;
b) 2 x hard drives and 0 x DVD/Blu-ray drives.

thats not cool i phoned up and asked specifically this question and got told it supported two hard drives and the dvd.

can someone confirm this?
I'm only going by the configurator,hopefully one of the PCS guys can clarify the issue.

Sorry for thread hijack btw.

Yeah just checked it on the site, hopefully its wrong as i went with the Optimus 2 as it was one of the few 17" that i could get that supported two drives, i already bought a 120GB SSD, and it was cheaper than the DELL XPS i was going to get.

I believe that the Optimus 17" only supports 1 HDD if you have a DVD drive installed. It is the Vortex 17" that has space for 2 HDD's and a DVD drive.
