Hi,
I was just looking for information regarding installing lead flashing on a roof and I went on one site (can't remember which one) and I had a pop-up saying that my "pc might have a virus..click here..."etc. I closed IE down immediately and ran Malwarebytes (quick scan). It found 2 things starting with "PUP.CNET.Adware.Bundle", which I promptly deleted.
On 'googling' this, it appears that this might be some sort of Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) which is actually installed by CNET (download.com)
Strange thing is, that I haven't even visited the CNET site for a couple of months.
Anyone else had this? Is this something new and should I worry about it? (I will worry, whatever you say mind )
I'm gonna run a full Malwarebytes scan and virus scan and hope for the best.
