Good day to you fellow enthusiast.

I have this weird issue that I hope one of you smart people can help me sorting out.

So Long story short - I have a desktop PC which I didn't use for past 6 months. but before it was working all fine.
I decided to upgrade it with new GPU and start using it again.

BUT, to my surprise the keyboard and mouse, both USB, does not work as soon as the Windows Boot logo appears on the screen.
While the MSI Guard Pro logo is displayed the Mouse does have a working laser light and numpad LED on keyboard is also working, I can get in to BIOS and and my mouse and keyboard are working perfectly fine, as soon as I exit the BIOS and attempt to boot in to windows both of mice and keyboard stop working, like there is no power to them, NUMPAD/CAPSLOCK LED on keyboard is not turning on or off, Laser on mouse is not lit too.

I have tried switching the peripherals in to different USB ports on the back of my MOBO, both USB 2.0 and 3.0 still nothing.

I have Simple DELL office style membrane keyboard and DELL office style optical mouse both are USB peripherals.

I wanted to try and repair windows, I have a bootable USB thumb-drive. however, the same issue applies. as soon as it loads in to the thumbdrive where I have an option to select which version of windows I would like to install 86x or 64x the keyboard and mouse stops working.

I have also tried removing the GPU and trying without it as I thought maybe there is not enough power from PSU, but I'm experiencing the same issue even without a GPU.

I hope there is someone who could assist. I have never encountered anything like this before.
