The monitor is going to bottleneck any modern system. To utilise that budget you'd be looking at 1440p Ultrawide or 4k 144Hz. 1080p is really a dead resolution only used in extreme budget builds, almost all GPU's are overpowered for it these days. It's really a very poor gaming experience in general. That build is £1944 but I definitely do not want to go above
This would max out the budget almost for a very capable 1440 Ultrawide setup:I would be able to afford a monitor at that price a week or two after the initial purchase, of the system if it were to stay around 1900.
My Dell is still on offer for £390, or £330 with Dell Advantage.......If you were to put the whole budget into a 2080 Super build, you'd need around £600 for a monitor to pair with it.
It's not an ultrawide, too small for this build. My Dell is still on offer for £390, or £330 with Dell Advantage.......
You've seen the picture though 🤣 . Don't tell me mine is sub-par, I've just got it.It's not an ultrawide, too small for this build.
Not sub par, it's just yours is a 1440p, whereas these are 1440 Ultrawides, very different monitors. You've seen the picture though 🤣 . Don't tell me mine is sub-par, I've just got it.

It is the ultimate for gaming, ultrawide or superwide, just soo immersive!Having just taken ownership of a 1440p ultrawide thanks to you and @Nursemorph, I’ll definitely vouch for that statement. It’s absolutely brilliant. Only been using it for about ten hours but there’s no way I’d want to go back to a smaller screen after experiencing this 🙂👍
