Monitor Recommendations for a PC & PS5

I have a PC on order from PC Specialist and I am looking at monitors to go with it.

It has the 3080 RTX graphics card so I would like the best options available to get the full use of the card. Ive looked at the Samsung G9, G7, Rog Strix XG438Q
LG Ultragear 38GL950G to name a few.
( Few other PC components, 3900X, Rog Strix 570F, 32GB Corsair Vengeance)

However, I have been a console gamer for many a year and have had Playstations from when they first came out so have the PS5 coming as well on launch day so in a ideal world I would like a monitor that is the best for both.
I would guess going with a monitor that will have HDMI 2.1 would be the best bet? but are any of these out yet?

I dont want to use my PS5 on my main TV that has 2.1, the TV tends to be on a lot when I'm gaming (football, NFL) so that's out of the question so I want to kill two birds with one stone and have a monitor for the PC and the PS5.

Would any of the above monitors be a good bet for the PS5? or would I be better holding out for some 2.1 HDMI monitors?
Currently I use a Viewsonic XG3220 monitor with my PS4 Pro so if I was holding out for 2.1 monitors this would have to do for the new PC as well for now. PC should arrive in around 2 weeks.
Thanks for any info, sorry about bringing consoles into the conversation but I really only want one monitor for both.

They’re 2 very different systems, the PS5 is nowhere near as capable as your PC. Really it’s the difference between a 1440p upscale and 4k 144hz.

I wouldn’t recommend trying to get a monitor to suit both as you’ll either substantially cripple the PC or weaken the PS5

At the earliest, it's looking like the end of December for a 4K 144hz Monitor with HDMI 2.1 to get released,
here a link to that Monitor...

and some news link's on other upcoming 4K 120hz and a 4K 144hz Monitor's with HDMI 2.1...

I'm also looking and waiting for a 4K 144hz Monitor with HDMI 2.1
"killing two birds with one stone"

HDMI 2.1 ports for my next gen consoles
DP 1.4 port for my 4K gaming PC.

How would say the best monitor for the PC hinder the PS5 though?

The PS5 wouldn't be able to push native 4k, it's only 4k upscaled which means 1440p so the PS5 would crawl at extremely low FPS,

I could well be wrong about this and a 4k 144Hz monitor would be the best option, but I think PS5 will do much better on 1440p at 120fps.

I could be wrong as I'm not fully up to speed with my console output Res/Hz correlation.... but.... I think all the voodoo is done before the output. If that is the case then the actual signal from the PS5 cable will be 4k 120hz.... of course that's if the monitor it's connected to supports this output. I don't think the monitor/tv would put the demand on the console (similar to a PC), more the console tells the monitor/TV what it's getting, based on the communicated options, and it can do what it likes to work with it :D

I would be curious to see 1440p 120hz next to 4k 120hz to see if the native resolution gets output as such or whether it is then down-scaled.
