I got a really nice gaming PC and now the Mrs wants to play co-op but her fancy XPS is nowhere near gaming ability.
So, we need a gaming laptop that is also OK for occasional mobility when we go on vacation and need to take something (XPS will be sold on)
We want to run current titles at high settings, on the laptop's built-in monitor (again, we already have a gaming station - no room for another).
Expecting at least 60 fps on current titles and also would like this to run games well for at least 4 years.

Here's the spec I am currently thinking about:
Chassis & Display
Elimina Pro Series: 17.3" Matte Full HD 144Hz 72% NTSC LED Widescreen (1920x1080)
Processor (CPU)
Intel® Core™ i7 Six Core Processor 10750H (2.6GHz, 5GHz Turbo)
Memory (RAM)
16GB Corsair 2933MHz SODIMM DDR4 (2 x 8GB)
Graphics Card
NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 3060 - 6.0GB GDDR6 Video RAM - DirectX® 12.1
1st M.2 SSD Drive
1TB INTEL® 670p M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 3500MB/sR | 2500MB/sW)
Battery
Elimina Pro Series Integrated 62Wh Lithium Ion Battery (RTX 3060)
Thermal Paste
STANDARD THERMAL PASTE FOR SUFFICIENT COOLING
Operating System
NO OPERATING SYSTEM REQUIRED
Chassis
TongFang GM7MG0R (6GB RTX-3060, i7-10750H, 144Hz, Blank KB)

Price as of now: £1058 (Our max is 1100, although will always consider something, if it's really THAT much better)

Questions:
1. Do you reckon the 10750H will be good for games in 2023, maybe after that?
2. What kind of thermal/battery performance I can expect from this set up?
3. What would you change in the specs, if you were in my position? :)

Thanks

Can you post the full specs including configuration link?

These are the interesting specs...

Does: "Office Software - FREE 30 Day Trial of Microsoft 365® (Operating System Required)" make a difference to your answer? :D

No disrespect intended. Just wanting to avoid a bloated post. Here's the link: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/saved-configurations/elimina-pro-17/8R0VDTgSAp/
The problem is that we can't all keep all the possible specs for every PCS machine in our heads! Having the full spec and link makes it easier to help.

As to your actual spec, personally I'd be very wary of buying a CPU that's over a year old at this point. The 11-series (Tiger Lake) CPUs are a big improvement over the 10th generation. What's more, a 17" laptop is really not all that portable. In your shoes and for your needs, I'd go for something like this (with the caveat that I'm not actually familiar with the chassis itself, so can't honestly comment on it):

Chassis & Display
Elimina Series: 15.6" Matte Full HD 144Hz 72% NTSC LED Widescreen (1920x1080)
