Just given this a watch, might be time to update our recommendations! That 1440p Gigabyte looks incredible for the price

Dam... So do I go for the ASUS TUF VG27AQ1A or the GIGABYTE M27Q? Both look excellent

Here's a few of the monitors HUB have recommended here with UK pricing and links for convenience (several are not available in the UK or only for silly prices, like the Asus VG259QM):

1440p options

Gigabyte M27Q (£289.99)

Dell S2721DGF (£299)

MSI Optix MAG274QRF-QD (£399)

Samsung G7 (£429)

1080p options

AOC 24G2U (£159.97)

BenQ XL2546K (£419) (this is for the super-able competitive gamers only)

4k options

Gigabyte M28U (£659.99)

(Personal interlude: there are no 32" 4K monitors recommended that are in stock in the UK: the only plausible option seems to be the Gigabyte FI32U for £870ish.)

Ultrawide options

Gigabyte G34WQC (£439)

AOC CU34G2X/BK (439)

Samsung G9 (currently £999, but only on a competitor site I won't link here)

In terms of 32in 4k high refresh monitors, the Gigabyte M32U seems to be in stock at Currys right now at £699. Both Scan and OC seem to be awaiting stock right but the've had numerous tranches since September.

By contrast, I've seen little or no stock of the Asus ROG PG32UQ at £850 anywhere in UK. The MSI Optix MPG321UR again is also scarce to non-existent.

Good spot. For some reason PcPartPicker (my usual tool for this kind of thing) doesn't list the M32U.

Also remember if you work for a company, check if you can get discount codes. Managed to get an extra £20 off of an ASUS 1440p 170hz IPS monitor in Black Friday sales. Worth getting as much off as you can
