Thanks, also when is says (pre-order only) for the graphics card... it means that they are in stock or it will take a while until they can build it?
Pre-order means they aren't currently in stock so it could delay the build.

Honestly for your use case you could probably half the cost of your build.

It means they're not currently in stock but they're on order.

Doesn't matter if they're pre order or in stock, they'll still be available by the time your order gets built in 4 - 5 weeks. There's a large queue as it's very busy at the moment, and AMD are doing a major announcement on Wednesday which will likely increase orders further.

It means it will take a bit longer than a card that doesn't have pre order only after it as they are waiting for ordered stock to actually come in

They're on Pre-order which means you'll join a queue of people that have ordered that same card and wait until they have enough stock to allocate a card to your order, at which point your build will likely be built as GPU's are the main cause of delays at the moment. The best way to track waiting times would be the 3080 Wait thread, which from having a quick scroll through the last couple of pages, it looks like wait times are pretty much in line with the standard build time.

You're entirely missing what's being said regarding the monitors I'm afraid, it's almost impossible to give any feedback because you're not hearing it. Apologies to be blunt, but 4 of us have tried multiple times now.

Which monitors do you recommend? Sorry about this but these monitors just stack in my head like a plague.

Those are very old monitors, they're not worth that much, newer fast IPS are cheaper and perform far better.

But they're also 1440p.

The build you have configured is a 4k 144hz or 1440 superwide build.

I don't know how else to say it.

This!!!

Either stick with that build but switch your monitor to 4k/1440p Superwide or switch to something like a 3070 and choose a 1440p display!

I see, yes true... they have been out for over a year now monitors. PCS doesn't have any superwide monitors to choose from because I would have chosen one if they had.

Yes, we would usually not recommend getting monitors from PCS as they don't have a great selection at this level.

Would probably want an ultrawide monitor, something similar to Samsung Odyssey G9... or two similar monitors 32" 1440p...
Right herein is where the confusion lies.

You either want an ultrawide or you want a standard 1440p monitor because the requirement to drive each type of screen is very different.

If you want an ultrawide then yes, you want a 3080.

If you want 32" 1440p you want a 3070. The fact that you want two of them makes no difference at all. It will not require a more powerful GPU as you will only be gaming on one screen.

-Is the RAM necessary for your workloads?
-You won't need the MX4 thermal paste, the Corsair AIO's come with high quality paste pre-applied
-Are there any features from Windows Professional you know you need? if not, I'd stick to Home. I'd also stick to W10 instead of opting for W11

- Sketchup V-Ray rendering uses, I didn't configure it because of the cost before, isn't a huge necessity but can be very useful.
- Cool, thanks for the confirmations then, so I will remove it.
- My mistake when I deselected windows 11 and put it back as pro versional instead of home.
