Charging via USB-C connector

Hi people. I just wondering whether I can use USB-C 3.2 connector in my PCS laptop (Elimina series) to charge the laptop with an external battery. I found some info. on google, it is possible to charge some newer laptops via USB-C but I`m not sure whether it works with PCspecialist laptops as well. Thanks for any answers:)

Hi, I have the same question (mine seems to be USB-C 3.1, and I also have an Elimina latpop). I need to figure out a way to charge my computer on a long haul flight, as it seems it requires too much power even when it's not turned on (180 W). I tried powering through USB-C but doesn't work even when I'm at home - I also tried on a docking station and it did not power it. I'm guessing that the answer is in the question, but I'm hopeful there's a workaround...

Yeah,I have figured out. There is no way how to charge this laptop alternatively. Only option is to change battery and use power safe mode, and battery saver, that way it holds about 4-8 hours, depends what you doing. I bought universal external battery with variable voltage and tried to change it the normal way through DC input connector but ,for some reason it did not work as expected and won't charge it properly.

Given how good the mods are, i'd still post your full specs.
If anything, they can give you a more detailed insight and a walk through of how to fix it would then be helpful for others that use the forum too should they have the same system

It really wouldnt surprise me if theres not a better alternative than the workaround youve put together... seems a bit heavy to handicap your system and using a battery that wasnt specifically designed for the laptop could have unintended consequences, and possibly even invalidate the warranty if it does actual damage....
