Welcome to the forum

Some more information is needed to advise properly...have a read through this and edit with the relevant information:

Could you also go back in to the post to forum page and include the Unique Configurable URL at the bottom please? Makes it easier to just edit the spec rather than doing the whole spec from scratch. Thanks
Thanks, have added the extra info and URL

I wouldn't recommend the build in its current state.
GPU is overspecced for 1440p gaming, a 3070 would be a much better fit.
Your RAM selection is very slow, 3200mhz is the sweet spot nowadays. I would also caution you against you mixing and matching RAM as it can cause compatibility issues and end badly.
Do you have any storage drives that you're going to add to the system? The 250GB drive will be enough for the OS and that's about it. If you want to put your programs on there too I would recommend a larger drive, as primary SSDs start to slow down a lot after reaching 50% capacity.
Your PSU and Cooler choices are also slightly underspecced and I wouldn't recommend proceeding with those choices.

If we can clarify the above, we can then work out exactly what you need and spec accordingly.

Thanks for the help. RE storage, already have a 2TB and 4TB 2.5" SSD's that I'll be adding. Am open to a 3070, and to 3200MHz RAM, this was just a first pass I wanted to get some opinions on. What would you recommend for PSU / Cooler?

Thanks for the extra info. This would be where I would land based on that. Taking out the 3080 means we have a bit of extra budget free. Good options here include going for a 12700K CPU, or opting for a second m.2 drive for games and projects. With direct storage starting to be implemented having a dedicated games drive will begin to have noticeable effects on load times in the next couple of years.
You can also just pocket the savings towards a GPU upgrade in a couple of years time.
