Sorry to waste your time, I've just realised i have been an absolute idiot. The keyboard uses the same dongle as the mouse i have, not Bluetooth and is working fine now.
Not an odd question at all. I have connected a wireless keyboard via bluetooth to it before, so i know it has the capabilities, it just doesn't seem to anymore.
