Can you not save some money by transferring a Windows license from an older computer to this build?

I feel like my decision needs to be between IPS or 4k for my own productivity and work (photo/video editing and multi-tasking) needs because I certainly can't afford to have both in the same monitor.

In stark contrast, put simply, if you want Linux just download a free open-source distro' like Ubuntu, install it and voila! I need to regularly use well over a handful of Windows only applications, so it's Win 10 Pro for me. [text deleted by ubuysa]
