Why do I need a Strix Motherboard? Does my current one not support them? Also the 3900 is only 65 TDP so do I really need a higher end water cooler?

If I could do without the extra fan then that'd be preferred. I assumed I'd need it to optimize airflow as I'd assume they'd put all the provided fans on the front of the case instead of maybe two at the front and then one at the back. I'm not afraid to get my hands in there but I don't really...

The main concern I have is the idea of it leaking when I move it around from house to house (As I'm at Uni currently). Worried about turning it on it's side to transport and then having it leak. Would I also need to clean it of dust like a air cooler? Do you also recommend a possible cheaper...

I've never used a liquid cooler before so I'm kinda nervous about using one. Like does it require any special maintenance?

So having that Corsair H100i RGB Platinum cooler would be best?

I use a few game development programs which take good use of a better CPU as I thought getting a fast one would be best. Also yea. I said I was concerned about cooling but really as long as it works, I'm happy haha. Unless that's a really bad cooler then I'm okay with it :) Especially as it...

@Nursemorph @AgentCooper What do you guys think about this: Case CORSAIR iCUE 220T RGB AIRFLOW MID TOWER GAMING CASE Processor (CPU) AMD Ryzen 9 3900 12 Core CPU (3.1GHz-4.3GHz/70MB CACHE/AM4) Motherboard ASUS® TUF X570-PLUS GAMING (USB 3.2 Gen 2, PCIe 4.0, CrossFireX) - ARGB Ready! Memory...

I'm fine with a little noise though just not super loud. I kinda prefer the look of the ICue 220T, does it still have good airflow even if the Lian Li lancool has better? And nah. I use ethernet.

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Any Advice on Buying a Laptop?

My friend is wanting to get a gaming laptop as soon as possible and I'm "attempting" to help her find a good one. I'm not very well versed in Laptops so I'm not exactly sure on what to get. Her budget is max: £1100, and she's not looking to play massively intensive games but wants something...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Needing a Gaming PC

Unreal runs like crap on my current but no so bad that it's unusable so considering this computer is about 100x better then my current, I'd imagine it'd be fine. This is my current build except for the 550W power supply that I can't select yet which brings the cost to £1061: Case FRACTAL...

Thanks for the reply :) Just wondering, what about the power supply? Do you think I could lower it to the 550W TXm? Wasn't sure how much I'd need and it's apparently in stock tomorrow

Thanks for the advice :). I've edited the original post and added info about what you requested. Let me know if you need more. I've been told by a friend to get a stock cooler as well though I guess you can say I have sorta PTSD (haha) from my original stock cooler for my AMD A8-6600K which...
