I'm looking to buy the Samsung 980 PRO 1 TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 drive Here and was just wondering if my motherboard would support this. It's the Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro. Thanks
I don't mind gaming in 1440p but I also want the 4k monitor to create 4k motion graphics and some work in Premiere. On my current monitor im having to zoom and scroll and all that stuff way too much (I'm guessing that would probably be the same case with a 1440p monitor right) plus in full...
Hey guys can anyone recommend a good monitor for my new PCS Pc. I usually create motion graphic templates in A.E and I will also be doing a good bit of gaming. I have a RTX 2070 Super if that helps . I currently have an Acer R271 which has been okay but since I'm going 4K Id like at least a 32"...
Fingers crossed... yea GTA V is a bit cpu hungry as Ive read but even now I ran it on my current system with temps never passing 70 which has a i5-4670k (not OC though) and stock cooler so hopefully I dont have any issues with the 9900k OC just a bit. 🤷♂️
Creating templates in After Effects, some rendering in Adobe Media Encoder, a bit of music production (Recording vocals), light work in Premiere Pro (No rendering) and some gaming (GTA V, Shadow of the Tomb Raider and NFS Heat).
I have actually ordered the PC and went with the noctua after speaking with another sales advisor at PCS. I know they only do up to 4.9 and from what he says they do thorough testing before shipping out builds. He basically said if the Noctua cant do the job then it can be swapped out for...
So I just contacted PCS and ask about buying an overclocked 9900k build with the NH-U14S. My query was basically whether the cooler would be able to keep the chip's temps in check with up to a 4.9GHZ overclock and was told yes. I found that the sales representative's answers were really short...
Ok noted.. I do appreciated the advice but for some reason Im leaned more towards air cooling. Is it only liquid coolers that would be able to keep it at decent temps when overclocked or are there other air coolers which can do the job just fine?
Thanks for the speedy response and the info. So the NH-U14S wouldnt be able to keep it in check even if I had another fan on there? Also I'm trying to avoid Liquid coolers... for some reason I just dont trust having liquid in my system with so much expensive components. I know I know they hardly...
Hey guys I have another question on this cooler. Will it still be ok for the i9-9900k if i wanted to overclock sometime in the future and if anyone knows, whats the ram clearance like for this cooler?
Thanks Spyder. Also, Im looking to go for a rtx 2060 (super maybe) soon... do you think this would be a good match up with my above build?... I dunno if this helps but my monitor is only 1080p 60hz and I wont be able to get a new anytime soon after buying this build. 😁 Thanks
