My tower will be the Coolermaster Silencio s600 so I don't think it's too big. Says it's mid size according to the spec. Depth wise, yeah I have some bloody bookshelves my wife asked me to put up above the desk. Might have to take one of them out, not sure if she will be too happy but oh well...

I'm back unfortunately. I spoke with PCspecialists and unlikely I will get my 3070 build soon so decided to wait for payday and invest into a proper monitor. also OCUK told me no way I'll get the gigabyte recommended above before Christmas. i decided to invest heavily and just treat myself...

Is smartappliances a reputable firm? I was thinking of buying the g9 as well. My desk is only 24in deep though.. Need to get tape measure out over the weekend.

Is there anything around 550-600 you could recommend for ultra wide? Problem I had with the giga is it seems quite big at the back as well. I'm expecting some resistance from the wife on it as it will be in the living room... Then again I appreciate that might not be possible with curved!

I think it's £50 cheaper, I thought might be compromising on quality. Ah I didn't notice the resolution of the Samsung, just saw it was curved as well. Guess that rules the Dell S3220DGF out as well! 34 inches on the Gigabyte this is my first rig in 10 years...can't believe how much it...

Still struggling to decide. The Gigabyte seems a bit cheap for a 34 ultra wide? ive been checking the Samsung g7s but apparently it's a bit of a lottery to get a good panel. Some people suggest 27 might be too small for a curved monitor. if anyone has any suggestions for a £450-£550 gaming...

Anyone can help me decide between these 2 monitors? HP 27 Omen or AOC CU34G2X 34 Quad Is the curved worth it? Mainly for MMOs and Mobas, RPGs they are both the same price but not sure if curved is a gimmick? It will be powered by a 3070 currently waiting on order to be built/delivered
