    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST RTX 3080

Mine was on 37/38 days when I switched from 3080 to 3090 and it got built. However I have a 5800x and not a 5950x.

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST RTX 3080

For what it’s worth, after no communication while waiting for my build, after I changed to the 3090 and they had stock, I got quite a few emails in quick succession about building stages, dispatch dates etc. And to be honest, if they don’t have anything to say I’d rather they didn’t say it...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST AMD Ryzen 7 5800X

I ordered on the 11/11/20. Originally had 5600x + 3080, over time changed to 5800x and 3090. I changed to the 3090 last Tuesday and then got an email saying that the 3090 was in stock while they had no ETA on stock availability for the 5000 series. Received an email yesterday morning at around...

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST RTX 3080

Went into testing about an hour after this post, stayed in testing until 3am this morning where it changed to awaiting dispatch. Hopefully means I’ll be getting it this week 😁

My build has finally gone into building too, after changing the 3080 to a 3090 last Tuesday with a 5800x. 38 working days until it changed.

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST RTX 3080

I changed from 3080 to 3090 on the 23rd of Dec. Got an email on the 28th to confirm the change(said they were in stock) but they also said in the same email that they’re now only waiting for the CPU(5800x) but they have no ETA. Was on something around day 33 when I changed. Keep in mind though...

Yeah I mainly done it after people said not to purely from the standpoint "well it doesn't matter if it's more expensive because at least it's better". And I'd assume your build would go quicker depending on the availability of the rest of the parts of the PC. If it's only the 3080 you're...

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST RTX 3080

Being one of the ones who jumped ship to 3090, I'd say it's only going to be worth it if you have the disposable income. I definitely don't need the 3090 over the 3080 and comparing benchmarks, it's nowhere near as worth it, but I've tricked myself into believe I've not spent as much as I have...

Especially more painful when the rest of the pc is in finance and you need to pay it upfront 😬

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST RTX 3080

It’s definitely overkill for what I intend to use it for, but at this point I’m in my third lockdown/furlough and my impulsiveness/boredom is getting the better of me. I did also try the alert game waiting for a ping of stock being in for the 3080 but they always sold within the first 5...

Me too, or hopefully this week since I’ve seen the 5000 series seems readily available on some other sites(which makes me think PCS is due some), just don’t trust myself to install it or I’d just order one 😩

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST RTX 3080

Got a response to my email this morning saying they have around 280x 3090s in stock although that was before they have been allocated to builds since the start of the weekend. Apparently all that’s holding my order up(3090 now and 5800x) is the CPU which apparently they’ve not been getting them...
