Well Connor, you're in good company - I'm in the 49 day crowd too. Have to say, I've come close to caving in and changing cards - man maths told me a 3090 is a good idea if it can get my system out the door faster, so I've emailed to ask what the stock situation is like on them.
When I spoke to CS the other day, they said that the water cooled cards are just standard ones that they remove the stock cooler and add the water block - apparently you even get the stock cooler included in your spare cables box which would make sense with the fact they're charging £178 extra...
So - an update on my LiquidSeries in build - just spoken to Customer Services on the phone (Lovely guy, sounded quite relieved I wasn't ringing to shout!)
The liquid team are apparently part-building some of the Liquid Series so when a bunch of cards come in they will have a few builds ready to...
Have you ordered a LiquidSeries or AIO/Air cooled ? I went into build last Tuesday with a LiquidSeries from a late November order too - possible theory being that the 3080 water cooled are different beasts to the 3080 air cooled. Haven't seen any movement since then though - I'm hoping it's not...
I don't know what's worse, sitting in the Pre-Prod queue or sitting in the build queue. Been building since 26th, guess it just means they're making a proper job of it :)

Yes, I got it with a GPU waterblock - I didn't actually realise you could get them with the waterblock pre-attached until I saw one on another site that had an AIO cooler setup on the card from the factory. I just assumed there would be a pile of spare fans sat around the PCS offices where they...
Totally appreciate the frustration - I umm'd and ahh'd about posting when I found out - until it's in my hands there's still a doubt in my mind that it's real ;)
I don't know if it's related - but I paid cash for mine, so technically they've had my money since November too, whereas if you're financing it they don't get the cash until it ships and you don't pay either? I don't know if that's your case Tamutol.
That, or it's a glitch and someone clicked...
I was sold on the higher single-thread performance as a lot of the apps I work with can bottleneck a single core leaving the others sat twiddling their thumbs, then I looked at the waitlist for the new AMD chips and that sealed my decision. Once the data is prepped it's all over to the GPU...
I've made it into the build queue - don't know if it's a different, or specific edition of the 3080 as it is water cooled along with the rest of the system but that was good news!! I'd actually stopped checking as it was getting depressing, but it went into build yesterday!
Running up to Christmas I believe they did - I think I saw it when I ordered mine.
Obviously don't want your new machine sat around running out the warranty waiting for Santa to do his logistics thing, so you could hold it until closer to the time I guess. Not really applicable to us 3080-ers I...
