I would probably say £1700 is my budget although I'd go lower if it doesn't seem necessary. It will be a 1440p monitor, not sure about refresh rate but at least 75Hz. I'd like to be able to max out games so the headroom is ideal. Purely gaming yes, with a bit of audio engineering here and there...
