Just a final update. It seems it was a fault with the card all along, warranty covered the replacement and it seems to be running fine now hopefully this’ll be the end of the issues.
Thanks for the help, even if it didn't solve the issue it allowed me to narrow down and make the fault...
Followed those steps, cleaned everything off and reinstalled but sadly I was able to make the card fail again.
I’ll see if I can’t send it in to have it looked over while it’s still under warranty.
Edit: Actually it's now worse, Borderlands 3 can't get past the loading screen at all anymore...

Tried to research this issue myself and it seems to be a thing with nVidia's cards and no one seems to have found a one shot solution, maybe the card’s just defective?
This has been...
Thanks for the advice I downloaded and ran the Wagnard DDU I found on the Nvidia Forums (In safe mode as recommended) and reinstalled the latest drivers.
Shall let you know if the issue returns, it could be awhile as the events are normally weeks/months apart.
Thanks again.
For awhile now I’ve been having intermittent issues while playing games of both my monitors going dark and displaying their no connection message and my cards fans spinning up to full speed. It’s not terribly frequent and happens under varying card load in games such as Greedfall (Twice)...
