    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST slow/sluggish BIOS menu

I mean i trust PCS when building the PC, they would install the power cables correctly? kind of why i wanted them to do it and why i didnt make my own PC. And the problem is the when running a game i crash and get a black screen, it then goes to 1-2 fps and i have to close it. My desktop and...

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST slow/sluggish BIOS menu

Ok so i was looking around a bit and wondering what could be the problem, and i disabled g-sync for fullscreen and windowed mode and just pout it to full screen and seeing if this has anything to do with the crashes, not sure.

Yes on the zotac 3070 they go in rather awkwardly in a little cut out in the card, but i checked and took out the gpu as well which had no dust or anything on it and re-inserted it made sure it was in properly. I ran up a game and it seems to work fine now? I dont know whats going on because i...

Ok so basically it happened again after clean install of drivers using DDU. Do i have to RMA this gpu then? seems something is seriously wrong going on here.

That's what i did today, hopefully it resolves the issue. Kind of strange how it works fine then suddenly crashes and black screen. Only when i try running games after the crash i get 1-2 fps and its unable to even load anything, but windows itself seems to run ok though

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST slow/sluggish BIOS menu

Good to hear, it was worrying me a bit but i thought it would be something to do with not recognizing a display without the power i guess. Doesn't seem i have to worry about doing a BIOS update then, the menus change fine when i click them just the mouse seems a big laggy/slow caused by USB...

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST slow/sluggish BIOS menu

Thanks for the replies, i went into the BIOS again to have another look. I would say the mouse is kind of sluggish but not worryingly slow and not smooth like using windows but it is usable, maybe it's fine. I'm using a wired USB mouse, a Tecknet one which is about £15 so nothing fancy here...

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST slow/sluggish BIOS menu

When i was changing my fan setting in the BIOS, i noticed the menu was very slow/sluggish with the mouse. I have the ASUS ROG STRIX X570-F Gaming mobo. The system seems to run fine with no performance issues i can notice. Had a look at the system info and the BIOS version/date says American...

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST ASUS VG27AQ Overclocking

Yes it only goes up to 165hz with the DP connection. Some games i play on windowed full screen cap to the monitor refresh rate so the 165hz would be better for me. Since it's a factory overclock setting i assume its ok since your not technically overclocking it, and not potentially reducing its...

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST ASUS VG27AQ Overclocking

There is an option in the monitor itself for overclocking and you can change it past 144hz to 165hz, It's advertised as 165hz but you have to use the overclocking option to enable it as it comes standard with 144hz. Kind of strange that's why im wondering.

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST ASUS VG27AQ Overclocking

Was wondering about the overclocking on the ASUS vg27aq, does anyone own this monitor and has it at 165hz overclocked? does it reduce the lifespan or anything and is it worth going above 144hz? Would like to go 165hz but wondering if it will "damage" the monitor in the long run since it they say...
