just finished 2 passes and no errors presented. I'm guessing the RAM needed a reseat or something. Hopefully it won't come back again. Thank you so much for the help, I really appreciate it. :D

I just swapped the memory back over and it seems to be booting up just fine now with XMP enabled. gonna fun MemTest all the same. :D

I bought the ram in June this year. The kit I have apparently isn't compatible but It's been working fine for the past few months.

I swapped out my 32GB 3200MHz kit of ram with my original 16GB 2666MHz kit and it booted successfully. Maybe this fairly new kit of RAM has gone bad. It shouldn't have done though.

I could try that, but I'm worried that if I did try updating the BIOS with the POSTing issues on startup that the motherboard would brick itself during the update process. Also I definitely don't need to worry about warranty as I bought the PC in February 2017.

According to Speccy I have version 1203 released in late December 2017.

I successfully changed the battery but unfortunately the problem is still there. :/

I'll give it a try tomorrow, thankfully we have a couple of 2032 batteries. Hopefully that will fix it.

would I still be able to boot successfully if the CMOS battery is going bad? I've never experienced anything like this before.
