Almost everytime I turn on my pc it turns off few seconds later the first time. I turn on my monitor then the pc it says no signal and shuts down completely then i turn it back on again and its perfectly fine.

My pc motherboard makes one continous beep then 4 short ones after which means a hardware failure but this happens when i turn on the pc before i turn on the monitor. If i turn on the minitor first then the pc its fine is this supposed to happen or do i need to check this out more.
