Wow, i never actually knew this! I assumed that if it's installed it was available for use, never thought that it wouldn't even receive any power. I'll have to look into this further. Thank you.

Well 6 years ago today i ordered my Optimus Series: 17.3" its been an absolutely brilliant machine and tbh although not the most powerful its played everything ive thrown at it reasonably well over the years! Well after waiting for what seemed like an age for the new chasis and cards to come out...

Ah it's such a long wait lol

So I've been advised to hold off on buying a new laptop as all the new tech and chasis have been confirmed at CES. However what's the wait going to be before PCS start to stock the latest chasis and setups?

So how how soon do you think the store would be updated with any new stock?

Just done this spec as I'm looking to get a new gaming laptop. Ideally I'd like an Intel i9 and a 3080ti. I'd also like at least a 17" screen. I'm not too bothered about battery life or storage as I have these covered. I'd just like to know if there is anything I could improve on this...

Yeah I know all this is because cards are in demand and I'm not in a particular rush but it would have to be a laptop. Guess I'll have to wait. Till the other chassis are back in. Is there any hints as to when these could be back?
