To me, personally, all such reports would help a lot. It would tell me what was happening, why there’s a delay and why I could accept the delay was warranted. No such reports just leaves me wondering if anything is happening at all. Telling me “they’re doing everything they can” doesn’t calm me...

A few days ago I posted a question about how long was normal for a PC to be stuck “on Test”. At the time of posting mine had been on test for four days with no issues noted. After seven working days, it’s still stuck there and the only feedback I’ve had has been extracted after long waits...

No I didn’t do that. I’m due to collect when it’s ready. I’m supposed to get an email to advise when it is but heard nothing. Now five full working days on Test and still no progress report or notes added to the order.

Can anyone advise what is normal for the time spent testing. My “being built” stage was only a couple of hours after 20 days in “Pre-production” but it’s now been “Testing” for 2.5 days with no reports or issues noted. This seems inordinately long.
