I've done some research and found out that they are daisy chains and the hanging parts are normal but i don't know why they would have used those cables instead of neat and tidy 8pin PCIe cables when that much money is spent on a rig.

I have just received my new build and requested to have 2x 8pin PCIE cables to be ready for my separate GPU. I'm slightly confused because i had to put in 2x 6pin and 2x 2 pin PCIE cables into the power slots on the GPU, which has left the same amount of cables being used hanging from the other...
