On a second thought, also my mic jack is not perfectly in line with the chassis (less than yours, though). No problem in using it.

Received my new Defiance VII a couple of days ago. As far as I can see, I can tell you that: - keyboard letters are not faded (at least not yet...) - mic jack is OK, no problem fitting with the chassis - space bar is like yours, not fully lighted (I'd say it's by design, not an issue)

Hi. Can anyone point me to a guide on howto properly execute first test on a brand new laptop (defiance vii)? Should be delivered to me next week. I'd like to run a few tests/benchmark to understand if any issue is present (overheat, thermal throttle etc) I've read several posts on the forum...

Hi. Bought exactly the same model as yours, not yet delivered. I was undecided between the defiance and vyper. Basically same price but vyper was way more powerful (RTX 2070 Super in it) Can I ask you why did you opt for the defiance? Did you consider the vyper chassis?
