Ye, but i wish they had smaller sizes M.2 SSD, because having a 500gb just for the booting the OS seems a waste, smaller sizes are slower when speaking about the EVOs.
Np, i was just wondering if having a dedicated OS drive is worth it, because otherwise i would save some cash on it because i will almost surely not fill the 2 TB even with all the big games installed and i have fast Internet so i dont mind redownloading them.
Im really struggling to decide if i should have a dedicated m2 ssd drive just for the OS or if the 2TB is enough for everything, its unlikely i will ever fill the space with games. Is there even really a performance decrease from only having the 2 TB SSD drive to use with everything, OS...
I was checking my order and isnt the OS a bit expensive, does it affect my build in any way if i just remove the OS instalation and do it myself when i receive my system via USB pen?
Been thinking, do i really need that 500gb ssd drive, isnt the 2tb ssd enough to carry the OS and most games, since i tend to delete them once im done. Will i lose any performance from running the OS and running games in the same drive? Or from running from another drive that isnt the OS drive...
Well now i dont know if i should cancel or not, anyway the price of my order was agreed before the end of 2020 inc VAT and delivery so it would make no sense to be overcharged after that.
Wait i dont get it, i already placed the order based on a set price with VAT and delivery included, you are saying that if i dont get the pc by December, i will pay more?
So should i switch to 3070 if im going to upgrade to 1440p and maybe a lower PSU? Both 3000 series are having the same stock issues. What is scaring me is thinking that 8VRAM might not be enough futureproof hence why i was going for the 3080 even without going 4K. Idk im confused.
I agree with dropping the board but i will probably do 250gb OS drive and only smaller games and then use the 2TB to put my next gen big games in it and run them from it. I still manage to save a bit.
Also if i upgrade to 1440p, do you guys think its a good use of the RTX 3080? Cause the 4k...
Budget max 3300 eur. Its just that for secondary storage i will probably use my 2.5 Adata SSD with 256gb (enough for media files and smaller games and the 2TB for OS and main bigger games). Also my BenQ XL2411 will probably stay for a bit until i upgrade, its not a bad screen.
