Thanks SpyderTracks I have ordered with the 32gb Ram @ 6000mhz. Thanks to yours and Tonys help I have ended up with a monitor as well for the same price as my initial choices.

Interesting question had this problem today with a new computer for my daughter. If you go into sound settings and plug in your mic you will get the choice to go into advanced settings. For some reason the decibel level will be 0. Increase this to max along with the volume and it should work.
