Hi Powered welcome to the forums.

The case is a gaming case, not really built for silence. Its about average for fan noise etc as its quite open with lots of grills.

I havnt seen the Killer Nic around in a while so im not 100% sure we sell it anymore, perhaps one of the call centre guys will jump in on this and correct me.

From what i have read you will be fine with the normal gigabit connection anyway.

Rig looks good on paper! needs a corsair PSU! ;)

Hi Powered

I have to admit i am a fan of the Sniper case and wish we sold them when i bought the cosmos 1000, its a great case for a gaming set up and if you want to run any oveclocks i have agree with Gorman on the sound being around medium, but my cosmos has insulation for noise which can have the oppopsite effect becouse of heat and get loud under heavy load.

Looks a very nice system by the way.....

Hi Powered,
The spec looks good, but I would make a few tweaks if I were buying. I would change the chosen SSD to the new 60gb OCZ Vertex 2. These new SSD's are powered by the SandForce SF-1200 controller and are pretty much at the top of the pile in the SSD perfomrance stakes. Also your motherboard supports SATA 6 Gb/s. To get maximum performance out of a standard HDD, maybe change your 500gb sata 3 Gb/s drive to the new 640gb Western Digital Black SATA 6 Gb/s drive. And finally, I would agree with Gorman and choose the Corsair PSU. Your GPU is a beast and would be much better of with a Single Rail, High ampage PSU which the corsair PSU's are. ObviOusly budget is the main factor but have a tweak and see what you can come up with.
