C240 ALC vs ECO ALC

I see that an additional cooler has been introduced.
In view of a previous, extended, discussion on cooling I'm wondering whether I should and if so whether I can change my order (currently in build) to use this cooler rather than the ECO ALC that is currently specified.

I haven't had a chance to look at any reviews as yet to see what the perceived differences are, but a radiator with more surface area sounds like a great idea.

Any thoughts? Time being of the essence, I imagine.

Thanks in hopeful anticipation.

the C240 is obviously bigger and can only fit a minority of the cases so you want to check that. Also you can change your build at any time but the further down the production line it is the more it will cost you to amend, for example its free at 'pre-production' but beyond that an extra cost is involved.

Many thanks for the quick reply, Sweeney.
I've selected the Cosmos 1000 Silent Case, so figure that should have enough room.
The order was waiting arrival of the OCZ 240Gb SSD but I see this changed earlier this afternoon, so hopefully any amendment costs would be reasonable (ideally zero, of course).
Looks like the C240 might run quieter both at idle and under load, which would be great and I'd really like to keep things as cool as possible and establisg as much headroom as I can for a potential OC at a later date.

Having had a chat in the online support room it seems that the C240 will indeed be quieter and with more headroom for a later OC, so I've made the change at a cost of £38.

Great work by all concerned - very impressive customer service and flexibility.

Looks like this post can close now?
