Velo hard drive

Hi had this computer for about 4 years so no warranty. Lately has taken ages to load up and ages to turn off. Tonight could not play any games i was playing a couple of days ago.It is continually reading or writing which is unusual. Any suggestions. Me thinks hard drive knackered.

have you tried cleaning up the disk from clutter and stuff. thats the simplest way to start off

Hi yes recently cleaned disk and defragmented it

so how does it not allow you to play games a couple days before and not now? whats it like from a cold boot?

Quite slow the hard drive seems to be in use all of the time

Note to self dont post after drinking. Have reinstalled games they are now working. Still cannot work out what the problem was.
