    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST RTX 3080

Yes, I think the problem is that they are ordering the GPU's but they're not arriving. The guy I spoke to said the last order that arrived was in October. Fingers crossed that Nvidia fancy making some money next year.

Hi there, Just to be clear. Are these instructions for warranty only if the customer overclocks the processor? I'm assuming/hoping that the PCS overclocked systems are fully covered for all parts that may break through overclocking?

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Overclocking AMD 3960X Threadripper for Rendering

Hi there, I've been reading some posts about overclocking AMD 3000 series and the consensus is it's not worth it. However, a lot of what I've been reading seems to be focused on gaming. I would be using it for 3D Animation in Maya and rendering in Arnold. Does anyone know if there is a...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST AMD Thread Ripper System for Maya - Is it compatible?

Hello, I have configured this PC but have very little experience with over-clocked AMD Threadrippers. I was wondering if anyone has an idea of how much air flow you need for these processors? The case comes with 3 fans (2 front, 1 back) and I wondered if i needed another one? System: Case...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST AMD Thread Ripper System for Maya - Is it compatible?

This is all great guys. Thanks so much for you input. I chose so much RAM because I quite often have a multiple bits of hungry software open at the same time. Thanks ProEnigma. So is usually supplied on separate media (i.e. USB) or installed on the hard drive? Also, my system would be overclocked. If I were to do a fresh install of windows 10 would it delete the overclocking capabilities of the processor.... and yes, I have no idea how overclocking...

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Windows Recovery Media?

Hi there, I have noticed the machine I have configured comes with a Windows 10 Multi-Language Recovery Image. I assume this is for when/if you want to do a fresh install of windows 10? Does it come on the hard drive or is it on a usb/CD; and how do you use it? Cheers Mike.

Hi Scott, In reference to the scratch drive you suggested. Would you advise an M.2 SSD or is speed not quite so important in this case? Thanks for all your help btw.

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST AMD Thread Ripper System for Maya - Is it compatible?

Thanks Scott. I must admit I was seduced by the 'pro' in the RAM description :-D I have no idea what the RGB part is referring to? Are you saying that the standard RAM performs the same? In reference to the scratch drive.... Is that difficult to set up?
