PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Desktop randomly freeze/lag for every around 20 mins

I would have thought the music would stop andbuffer then, rather than change playback speed/slow down like OP said?

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Desktop randomly freeze/lag for every around 20 mins

Temps seem fine, shouldn't be thermal throttling. Could possibly be a driver issue, with GPU or audio so you could try uninstalling the devices in device manager and then ensuring latest drivers are installed for each. Ultimately I think it might be easier to just do a clean install of windows...

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Drives

I'm a bit confused. I assume the SSD is your C drive and the 1TB HDD is your D drive, with windows installed on C. Where is Trainz Sim currently installed?

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST My PC freezes whilst playing videos and movies

Have you run windows update and ensured that all updates including optional ones are installed? What media are you playing in Windows Media Player, VLC etc? Perhaps it's a particular codec causing the issue and needs to be updated?

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST INCOMING!!!

Similar boat as Scott, 5900X and 3070TI, so no real need to upgrade. I am waiting to see pricing for this. I know people are saying wait until Sept to buy, you'll get better for same price. I'd be interested to see what the MSRP is at launch for both the CPUs, GPUs and Motherboards and whether...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Configurator wont let me have this spec with a RTX 3090

Good stuff. I'm going to throw a spanner in works with another suggestion. PCS only offer the Corsair LL fans as additional fans. Personally I'd leave them out of the order, and order ML Elites from Corsair direct. Otherwise you'll end up with ML fans at the top, LLs on the side and SP's on the...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST New PC, Piece seemed to have come loose

That’s the speaker for the system error beeps. It’s supposed to be loose/dangling, as long as the other end is securely plugged into motherboard. Where is loose screw?

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST iCue strange issues

Fair point, I was assuming fans were connected to the Commander core that the AIO comes with, but some case fans might connect to the MB via header or PWM splitter.

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST iCue strange issues

iCUE controls connected fans' RPMs. The fans are not connected to a fan header, only the pump is and that's just so it can report a RPM speed to the CPU header, as some BIOS's will fail POST if they fail to detect a CPU fan running.

Bend it, brute force. ;) You might be able to slide the vertical part by loosening the bolt and moving it up and down the arm. I suspect that's the part that's touching the fans, but take the side panel off and look closely to confirm.

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Cannot configure Threadripper 5000WX series with the RTX QUADRO cards...

Probably a question for PCS directly. Forum members are just PCS users, we don't work for PCS so don't have insight as to configuration limitations.

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST New PC (Odin R80) - Arrived Today - Loud Rattling Noise

Obviously that's your choice to make, and yes it's a lot of money so you expect a quality product. My guess from the pics is that the support arm looks to be bent inwards a bit, which might bring the support in contact with GPU fans. The GPU fans generally are not running all the time, which...

Check the GPU, make sure the support bracket hasn't shifted and touching one of the fans: Looks like you're removed the foam insert :)

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST iCue strange issues

Just so I understand the issue: Once you change some settings from the default in iCUE, when you shutdown PC (presumably via Start->Power->Shutdown) the fans still run? Never heard of that before. I would have thought that if Windows has shutdown, iCUE is not longer running, so it's not...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Configurator wont let me have this spec with a RTX 3090

Agree, all ATX MB are the same dimensions, in terms of width and length of the board, but the height of VRAM heatsinks for example will vary. I suspect it will all fit, but like I said PCS probably err on the side of caution given the various variables that determine if everything fits together.

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST PC stopped working mid-use - now won’t display anything

Yep, hence suggesting booting off USB and use the Advanced Options to repair the boot, run command prompt etc.
