Messing about the other day looking at a GT 740M spec for someone, noticed that there are actually two versions available, a GK107 and GK208. The former being quite a bit better.
Can PCS confirm which one they stock?
This is sort of Phone, sort of gaming related.
Not sure if you guys have heard of it/them, but Power-A make a collection of controllers that connect via Bluetooth to your mobile phone.
I picked up a few free games (Dead Trigger 2, ShadowGun: DeadZone, Asphalt 8) for my HTC One and was amazed...
Now, for the most part the 'deals' are awful and the some of sale items appear to be random beyond belief, we're talking school fete quality...however, every now and again a belter will pop up so its worth keeping an eye out.
Plenty of notice for those who didn't know about it.
Might be able...
I know keynes will be annoyed Im even looking at i3 processors but just to keep PCS on their toes I've noticed they have the description wrong.
The i3 4330 and 4340 actually have 4MB cache not the 3MB listed on the PCS website. The 4130 does have the 3MB.
Aerocool Dead Silence. Multiple colour and window versions available. MATX and ITX only.
Its a bit like the Bitfenix Prodigy but sleeker.
There is now a Prodigy-M which can take MATX boards.
Decided I needed a game to get my teeth into and I've had Skyrim installed for a while now but never really got going with it. The problem I had is that I had it on my 360 and put well over 25hrs into it and got quite far, so the thought of re-doing all those quests put me off.
Last night I...
As you can see in my sig I have recently put together an AMD build. I won't linger on the ins and outs of that too much as PCS will probably get annoyed. But what Im planning to do is try and see what the components I have (see title), also available from PCS, can achieve with regards to...
This one pops up now and again so apologies if its been covered lately.
I need a new desk, but....I've got nowhere to put it! Basically Im being evicted from my home office in a few months, problem is, where do i put my desk. Its too chunky and dated to fit in anywhere else. I think what I need...
This cropped up last night and I've no idea why.
I use a DVI cable from PC to Monitor and for the last week its worked fine, no problems whatsoever. When I turned it on last night, when you usually see the BIOS Splash Screen, my monitor had a message on saying 'Input Not Support', however a few...
Not far off, ran out of time earlier. Just got the gpu and DVD writer to put in and connect up, then some cable tidying. Then Windows install. Only dropped one clanger so far. Forgot to put the IO plate on before the motherboard went in, had to take it out, slowed my progress a bit that did...
Im giving away one copy of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist : Digital Deluxe Edition

For a bonus point and a copy of...
Here we go then, bought Killing Floor on Steam and have been adorned with two, yes two, free guest passes for the game.
The passes give you access to the full game for a limited time only. I have no idea if you'll get an hour, a day, a week, it doesn't say. Not mindblowing stuff I...
It may be something really obvious that I'm missing, but why is this board not listed in the config as a Crossfire board? ASUS have it as one.
I initially thought it may be because the second pci 2.0 only runs at x4 but you have the...
