Is it easy enough to open up the laptop and apply this paste?
I have experience with building normal desktops but never tinkered with a laptop. They seem more intricate to me for some reason.
Oh btw - just so it's clear, I already have this laptop, it was built in november last year. So unable to change any hardware.
Budget is not a constraint though so I'm considering just building a new dedicated desktop for VR gaming. Would that be a better option? And if so, any out of the box...
I've bought a cooling pad but that's the only measure I've taken so far.
What is the undervolting issue and is there anything else I can do to optimize cooling?
Hi,
I have a high end laptop from pc specialist that I built for other purposes than VR gaming.
Will it be sufficient for high def VR gaming on a Valve Index?
Specifically worried about overheating and whether the gfx is strong enough for high def VR.
Thanks in advance for any feedback...
