Thanks Scott for the detailed response and I have a very good idea now about the builds. However, regarding the monitors how different can quality of monitor vary between 1080p Models, and if I were to get a better 1080p Monitor what specs would that have to support a gtx 1660 super.

By this do you mean having a build that has a good balance of aspects. Like why would 1660 ti not suit the vortex build but gtx 1650 super suit my build? Also my friend is convinced I don't need a 512 GB SSD stating it would only really be useful for faster boot and load times. Reckons I'm...

Link to the prebuild - https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/view/Vortex-RL/ So is gtx 1650 super > 1660 ti despite 1660 ti being more expensive?

These specs: Intel® Core™ i5-9400F 16GB Corsair VENGEANCE 2400MHz 6GB GEFORCE GTX 1660 Ti 2TB SEAGATE BARRACUDA HDD 512GB INTEL® 660p M.2 Isn't this better for £1067 than my build for £1030??? Graphics card is much better, and if i did upgrade to gtx 1660 ti in a year or so it will set me back...

Yes I realise its the 3300x but this is the best alternative I can find. Anyway you are right about finding results from 3rd part reviewers. Found a video or two on youtube showing this gtx 1650s and 3300x combo at 60fps+ for all the popular games.

Actually what is the best site to see how well I can run on certain hardware? I was having to estimate a bit by inputting ryzen 3 pro 3300u and gtx 1650, so I can provide a link next time 😂 This was on pcgamebenchmark

Actually for warzone it says it recommends using gtx 1660 and I doubt there is much difference from the gtx 1650 super when it comes to performance? Also is it not the case that more games require multi-threading for better performance? I want to eliminate any risk that my gpu will run at less...

Ok noted the psu confusion, thanks for the overview. Last of all, I've ordered with ryzen 3 3300x but it looks like it falls short on reccommended settings for big games like warzone and F1 2019. Is there more worth in upgrading to the ryzen 3600 six core for an extra £48?

So from specs you've picked I'm assuming that it is more important to have a quiet psu rather than cooler? I didn't realise power cables had a noise issue. Also, is there really any difference between a £46 and £70 rgb case?

Before I order, how much of a genuine difference does a £86 ultra quiet power cable have compared to not having it and when comparing to having a top-end cooler instead? Also is there really much of a difference between a £70 and £46 rgb case? Other than that, this is a really solid build that...

Ok so from what you're saying it seems that the standard cooler is really worth it. Looking over specs I have 3 queries: 1) Why have you picked the x570 plus motherboard? And not upgraded/downgraded? 2) Gamers online seem to be thinking that cpu 6 core min is the requirement for gaming for the...

Well my full time job isn't to be a professional gamer so I wont be breaking top 500 any time soon ahaha. I am mainly looking to play with friends but also be able to muscle it out in comp. Also regarding the specs you sent, is it worth getting the standard cooler and thermal paste. My friend...

Yeah I don't think 4k 60fps+ is worth that money at all. I would be really happy with the 3300x and 1650 super quote. It would be a matter of replacing the gpu and monitors at a later date when 4k becomes more popular and cheaper. The most important thing for me is that this quote would be able...

And with regards to monitor I've been using a Benq monitor for last 4 years (model number - gl2450-t). But looking to make step up to 4k all within reasonable price.

Wow seems Intel are living off the brand. Quite bad that when I search for pc setup comparisons on google all these benchmarks favouring intel top the search engine. However, are Intel is still regarded best for desktop experience?

Thanks Scott. So considering I have a budget up to £1300 what will be the best combo of cpu and gpu for gaming performance? Also bearing in mind this PC will also be used for a lot of desktop work. Also based on what were you saying about the 3300X I have made a revised pc. Tell me what you...

That makes so much more sense, I can't believe they are rating a £200 i5 over a £450 ryzen 9. Is there some sort of agenda for Intel?

Thanks for the advice steaky. Initially I will use 1080p monitors which I am sure will run well with gtx 1650 super. This GTX 1650 seems to represent best value for GPU's in the market and will seem to run any game at 60fps with the i5-10600k cpu. I have looked into AMD as well as I have seen...

Hello PCSForums, I am working on a budget of £1200-1300 and looking to build a very good 1080p 60 fps gaming pc with value for money. This is the best I have come up with after hours of research and advice from friends. Also, I want to know if this could potentially run 4k games as good as the...
