    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Enigma VI Review

Updated 18/12/15 So I've had my Enigma VI for just over a month now, so I'm just updating this and changing a few words here and there. I don't believe there are any other reviews of this as of yet so hopefully this will be of help to people! I'll stick the photos below for you to have a look...

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST 14" Enigma VI

Looks like a pretty nice piece of hardware and am probably going to end up buying one, any thoughts or comments by anybody? The only thing that puts me off is the Broadwell processor, is there any chance of a Skylake version in the near future? When I bought my Skyfire II the Sandy Bridge...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST [Review] Skyfire - 3 years on

Preface: There doesn't seem to be an area for this sort of thing, so I suppose here will do, feel free to move or delete etc. Looking back over what I’ve read it could be a little negative, but that’s only because I’m highlighting things I remember as going wrong etc. Anything I haven’t...

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Skyfire II Keyboard

I did post about backlit keyboard options on the Skyfire II a while back and was told it was not supported by this model of laptop. After installing some more RAM, I was curious about what exactly stops the backlit keyboard being available on the Skyfire II? I watched a disassembly tutorial for...

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Skyglide Tablet PC

Not sure how long they've been on sale, however I just noticed them today. Seeing as I just bought a tablet PC for more than twice the price of the 10.1", I would just like to enquire about them. My main points of enquiry are a) exactly which CPU is used in them, b) at what point will android...

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Skyfire II Temps

Just wondered what kind of temperatures people are getting with their Skyfire II, I'm running Furmark at the moment and with the GTX670M I'm hitting about 82C. Just wondered if that kind of temperature is normal?

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Second Monitor Problems

I've been having a bit of fun trying to make a 19" Samsung TV play nicely with my Skyfire II. It's a very strange problem - I have set my output to 1440x900 60Hz which is the optimum resolution. 50% of the time I turn on my computer and it works fine, the other 50% the TV says "Not optimum mode...

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Skyfire II Battery

Was just looking at the Skyfire II detailed specifications page - next to the weight it has 3.1kg including 48.84WH battery. The battery in my Skyfire II says 87WH on the back of it, so presumably is 87WH. I'm guessing this is a mistake on the site?

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Skyfire II RAM

Just about to get another 4gb stick of RAM to put alongside my current 4gb stick. Does anybody know whereabouts the RAM slots are located on the Skyfire II?

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Nokia Lumia Deal! (£7.50/month)

I don't know if anybody would be interested, but I'd been looking at getting a new phone for ages, really wanted a windows phone but with only a limited budget I lacked faith in being able to find a cheap one. Previously I was paying £10/month on pay as you go just to top up. Anyway to the...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Skyfire II Backlit Keyboard?

After looking at reviews on the MSI 1762 (assuming that the PCS one is based on the GT70), I found some models that have a backlit keyboard. More curious than anything as it's something I may be interested in in the future, but is it possible to upgrade the keyboard to a backlit one or do the...

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Skyfire II Review

Seeing as there aren't many reviews of the Skyfire II and I'm sitting here on mine, I figured I might try and be nice and give some sort of idea of what it's like. Firstly, my original budget was about £800 to £850, waiting the the Optimus III, however when I saw this available I might have got...

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST About hard drives

I know that an SSD is the best way to go when it comes to transfer speed and boot times etc, but what kind of difference would I see between a 5400 and 7200rpm drive, in terms of loading times for games and boot times. Is it worth upgrading now to 7200rpm or getting a 5400rpm drive then...
