PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST New M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD installation question

Turned out. Super easy! Downloaded some free Clone software 1. Put the new NVMe in the spare slot on the motherboard 2. Used the clone software to ‘clone the data /boot drive from the existing 3.0 NVMe to to new 4.0 NVMe 3. Swapped them around so the new ‘faster’ NVMe is next to the CPU 4...

Hey :-) So, I've a X570 motherboard with x1 PCIe 3.0 1tb SSD installed (Samsung) Having recently bought Red Dead 2 with it's huge install size, it's encouraged me to get another NVMe drive.... Knowing the X57 motherboard will support x2 PCIe 4.0 SSD's - I bought a 1tb WD Black SN850 with...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST TPM - Changed CPU

Hi So, I've changed my CPU (3600x to 5600x) There is a new Win11 update that has appeared in my settings. I've downloaded the update, gone to install However, the I can't install as I do not have TPM enabled - I assume it reverted back when I swapped the CPU? So, into the BIOS I go. Turn TPM...

Begs the 64 thousand dollar question Would I gain more from upgrading from a 3600x to a 5600x and keeping the 3070 Or. Upgrading from a 3070 to a 3080 and keeping the 3600x

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Cyberpunk 2077

Just started again today! Playing without RT and it 'more or less sticks to 60fps' I assumed a mighty 3080 upgrade from the 3070 would liberate some RT goodness at a steady 60fps with quality dlss. I'm surprised that the 3600x CPU is holding me back. Be cheaper to upgrade to the 5600x mind!

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Cyberpunk 2077

So, I haven’t really played the game since I bought it. I got on the hype train thinking I would play it 1440p with all the ray tracing bells and whistles on, with my 3070. Only to find out that to hit a smooooooth 60fps that even with dlss on quality ray tracing is a no go. So you I sulked and...

So I quickly swapped over from 1x 8 pin in the PSU daisy chained to an 8 pin and 6 pin into the GPU (The current set up) to a 1x 8 pin in the PSU using only the 8 pin into the GPU 1x 8 pin in the PSU using only the 6 pin into the GPU Was messy as both cables have additional daisy linked...
