Yeah that's upscaling, im talking about downscaling. It will always result in a blurry image. Downscaled 4k looks way worse than native 1080p.

What i'm saying is that 1080p (even 1440p) on a 4k monitor looks way worse than on a monitor with that as the native resolution. If you want to play at 1080p you should have a 1080p monitor ecc...

4k gaming unless you keep upgrading it's not feasible (at 60fps or above) in the longer term, but i'd say that 4k monitors are an investment for the future.
