PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Gaming PC for ~£600?

Hhhmmm I'd be dubious about the RAM speed, the motherboard and the PSU. Apparently the motherboard if an Asus prime a320m-k. Quick bit of research into that model suggests it would be fine for home office use, but not gaming. Only one PCI-E slot and RAM limited to 2133MHz. In short...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Gaming PC for ~£600?

Hey Raz, Can’t speak from experience with regards to the speed of RAM and the difference that makes, I’ve only ever used 3200MHz; but what I can say is that warzone was an unplayable mess for me using 8gb of 3200 (same for RDR2). I increased that to 16gb of 3200 and it runs like a dream.

Would you recommend CPU-monkey or any other site for reliable CPU comparisons?

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Gaming PC for ~£600?

Cheers for that, I did wonder. I was in the process of writing that the 3500x (as was recommended by Scott, not the 3600, just FYI) would mangle my 6600k but I thought, "I better check that" and did a quick search. I would expect much better overall performance from a Zen 2.

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Gaming PC for ~£600?

Hhhmmm that's a good question r.e. whether they'll introduce FOV changes to Warzone on consoles. Given there will be some integration of cold war content into Warzone (which is how I currently understand it anyway!) they might do. It's a moot point for me though - playing FPS games with a mouse...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Thoughts and opinions for 1440p, 144hz gaming (RT off)

Hey all, As it says on the tin, just lobbying as many thoughts as I can on the below setup, please. £1,800 is about my limit. Will be looking to play a whole host of games - Warzone, Cyberpunk, TES6 if it ever lands, and will probably have a look at shadow of the tomb raider just to see if...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Gaming PC for ~£600?

No problem at all. I'm currently in the process of planning on treating myself to a new rig and just generally discussing this stuff is fun! It may be complicated but it's so worth it. Consoles have their pros, but if you can afford a PC that'll run the games you want to play at the...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Gaming PC for ~£600?

Hey Raz, Just wanted to chip in and say, from bitter experience, the absolute minimum I would consider for Warzone at decent settings is 16gb of RAM (included in the build suggested by Scott) but also a GFX card with 6gb of RAM. I'd expect the 4gb 1650 to struggle, especially if you like...
