How long do you recommend?

My desktop is due to arrive on Tuesday. How long would you advise to let it acclimatise for? Also I am installing my own 3080. Am i best doing this before i switch it in for the first time? Thanks

Just had the email that I have gone into build.🙌🙌 39 days 5900x. Managed to secure a 3080 a couple of weeks ago so that made a massive difference. Excited now and hopefully the rest of u wont have to wait to long

They have clearly had deliveries. Also I got told they are due more stock next week. I don't understand why we are being told different things

How many days are you? Is it just the cpu aswell?

Spoke to a lad today. Probably the most helpful and knowledgeable one yet. Told me they are receiving 5900x and currently have around 96 in stock ready to go into builds. Also due some more in around the 23rd. Im 37 days with no gpu so hopefully i could see some movement soon 🤞

Just seen on a competitor site there not expecting any shipments of 5900x for at least a couple of weeks 😩

I am waiting on a 5900 aswell. Took out the gpu last week. Im on 35 working days. They told me if im not on the next batch ill definitely be on the batch after. Before the end of jan he said to me. Won't hold my breath though

So after switching from a 3080 to a 3090 to speed up my order I have managed to secure a gigabyte 3080 OC. I will be cancelling my graphic card on monday. Might seem a silly question but when i recieve my pc from PCS will all the cables to connect the graphic card be provided or will I have to...

No ordered 3080 at the beginning. Swapped to 3090 a few days ago

I would think that email was to do with the original 3080 order surely
