I have stated that I am aware that pcs dont support or supply linux/ubuntu, whatever, for this machine! All im saying is, during the purchase process, pcs said to contact them if I chose to install Linux and they may be able to offer some advice, thats all! Its not a problem!

Im also very interested in this. If anyone can point me to any Touchpad (and kbd light) drivers for the Tongfang laptops. It all seems to work OK apart from these drivers. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I chose the large amount of memory as I run several virtual machines and they lock out quite a lot of ram.
