Welp, I was on day 97 amd now dispatch awaited BUT I did have it set to a 3080/5900x prior to day 70ish. There may be other elements such as case, psu or cooler which are not in stock on your particular build vs mustard

After going into build at close of business yesterday, the build, test and awaiting dispatch all happened on a bank holiday. Some poor sods have been asked to work it at PCS clearly - I send my appreciation for their efforts!

The 5950x must have arrived!

I was looking in the configurator but just playing around with new builds, this wasnt using my own order amendment page

Pcs website says 5950 due 1st April.. we will see

I would take a pinch of salt with that as they told me when I changed they were due some at end of Feb and another batch at start of March. I don't think they really know.

I suspect looking at people recently receiving their orders that you are correct - but it saddens me that people on forums give better advice than PCS themself who specifically told me that the 5950 was in stock and less in demand than the 5900, hence the change

85 days 3090/5950x. Upgraded from 3080/5900x as they said it would be faster but doesnt look like it is going to be, may end up downgrading back to 3080/5900x as people on that thread getting their builds between 90-100 approx

5950x/3090 Hit Day 80 today :(

I'm at 72 working days and changed from a 3080/5900x to a 3090/5950x on advice from PCS support on likely wait times. (I.e the 3080 is going to be 》100days and the 3090 around 60 days) around 2 weeks ago. I am seeing people last week at 50ish working days getting theirs despatched so am getting...

Nope, rang them and they told me just those 2 components

It was already an 850. Pcs seems to think the build only needed 698w and tried to make me pick a 750w

Day 68 now - have caved and upgraded from the 3080 strix to the 3090 as was told that would be quicker. Been waiting long enough to save the extra money and its overkill but my patience (and old pc) have given out. Let's hope it does actually improve the order time

Currys always says in stock but doesn't tell you which store so you still can't buy one!
