Hey Raptor, Cheers for the links! Gave the card and fans etc another clean out just to be sure with air and set up the MSI fan profile as described in the other link to no avail....... Maybe it is an air flow problem? Although the HAF X has got the door fan that points directly at the card...

Thought id pop up a screenshot running BF3 in medium settings (I've taken afterburner off for the moment), 87% fan and 84 degrees? GPU load hanging around 40-60% on that map? doesn't seem right......does it?

Hey folks, Just been checking my temps when running battlefield 3 in my rig that i got here back in April, running on ultra the GTX 580 is hitting 98 degrees!? turning the settings down to medium i'm getting low to mid 80's - high is low 90's? is this normal? oh and the fan noise from the GTX...
