Looks like I need to replace my Vortex IV Elite sooner rather than later... It's been crashing every time I try to run a game for a week now. Today this started happening.

The “Recoil” seems in all ways superior to the “Recoil IV” but it’s £500 cheaper. 11th gen vs 10th, RTX 30x0 vs 20x0, better M.2, Thunderbolt 4 vs 3. What am I missing? I guess it’s just that the IV has higher spec parts by default.

Just been reading about screens and subpixels, and it seems there's an issue with BGR subpixels. At the moment, Google Chrome and Adobe Acrobat hard code their font smoothing to expect RGB subpixels, and so any screen with BGR will look bad. Does anyone know the details of PCSpecialist laptop...
