PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Love the Desktop, but shipping concerns

Mine arrived exactly the same way on Tuesday - including a ripped carry handle! I thought it would be a box within a box as well. Luckily it seems no harm was done and my PC works fine.

Looks good but I’m still setting it up so haven’t too much to report. Certainly far, far faster than the 8 year old PC it replaced but then I wouldn’t expect anything else!

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST I'd appreciate some help with this quote.

That’s very similar to my build which was delivered yesterday. I used the Fractal G case and swapped the SSD for the intel M.2 SSD based on advice I received here (I had an RX 570 as well but I doubt you would want to change that!).

I may head back into Eve Online at some point as well - but I used to play that with the settings dialled down anyway. I was...

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST New PC Build

Actually using the intel m.2 ssd, with the case you suggested and a 2TB hdd is the same cost as the spec I’d outlined above (less the usb card as well). So I think I’ll be going with that :) Thanks again.

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST New PC Build

Thanks again. Yeah the motherboard has a usb c port so I can happily drop the card. I have also been playing about with various storage configurations (like dropping the M.2 for a normal SSD) so I’ll factor in your case recommendation and see what I come up with.

Thanks. I was going to buy an SSD and not upgrade but didn’t think about the graphics card/ RAM as well. I’ll look into doing that - or find a bigger budget :)

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST New i5-2500 build

Hi I'm looking to buy a new PC later this month and, after weeks of playing around with an AMD build, this weekend I have completely changed my mind and went for a shiney new Sandy Bridge pc. My budget is £850. Original build was this: Case COOLERMASTER ELITE 310 BLUE CASE Processor (CPU) AMD...
