Been having a right nightmare with my laptop lately!
My graphics card was playing up about half a year ago and I started to get green screen crashes and multi-coloured lines etc.
Eventually it died and reading up on it I realised it needed a re-flow. Apparently it's a well known issue...

Over the weekend the graphics card (AMD Radeon HD 6990M) died in my Vortex II.
I'm getting the Black SOD when booting into windows.
Already tried windows restore, re-installing drivers (including latest beta) etc. Booting into Safe Mode works because that uses the inbuilt VGA I assume...
