G9 is an absolute beauty but a bit too big for my liking, with the pc coming up towards £2500 I'd rather settle for a £500 monitor at maximum for now :)
Okay great I'll go for that CPU, I think I've just grown used to seeing Z690's in practically everybodys 12th gen build on YouTube that it makes me comfortable haha, as long as with the b660 I'll be able to down the line upgrade to DDR5 then that's not an issue for me. I'll go with the 3070ti...
Nice that configuration is looking much more fairly priced to what I was looking at, just a couple of thoughts after looking through the setup.
Is it worth getting the 12700K instead of the 12700KF? The price difference isn't noticeable?
For Motherboards would a Z690 be best? Longevity in mind...
Hey thanks for your reply,
With the second screen I'd like to use it for playing a second game on when I can, most of the time for YouTube discord etc but I would like to be able to play two freely play two games at once.
From what I've seen 1440p would suit me down to a T :) not massively...
Hello all,
I'm looking to purchase my first proper gaming pc, I've got a general idea about the sort of components I'd be using but the fine tuning and best performance bang for buck is a struggle for me.
My rough budget is £3000-£3500 I'm hoping to include a dual monitor setup in that...
Hi all
I'm very interested in purchasing a new computer, this'll most likely be at the end of April.
Assuming it's hard to say whether you guys will be open for business then or not as it's probably played by ear on a day to day basis.
Would love to know if you have any updates or expected...
Thank you again!
Peace of mind is definitely what I'm after :D
I'll post here again when I eventually come round to purchasing a new monitor if possible?
Thanks for the reply!
I was 99% sure prior to this recent post as they seemed very knowledgeable.
Now I'm definitely feeling 100% sure and will be making this purchase soon.
Just hoping stock will be available with the ensuing coronavirus effect.
Thanks! :)
Hello all
I previously spoke too two very helpful people (Scott & Spyder. Can't remember there full nametags). They were both very helpful in helping me find a suitable PC when initially I had set a budget of £1500, they managed to actually get that down to £1150.
I have no doubt there...
Also as a side note, I have 2 8GB DDR 4 RAM that I'm using with my laptop, I'm assuming I can transfer them over? Happy to buy the 16GB RBG as stated. I know 32 GB is overkill but oh well.
I've also got a 500GB Crucial M.2 SSD with my laptop as well.
Is there anything I could do to help you...
Thanks for your help!
I'll stick with Scotts recommend computer build, to tell you the truth I generally play a lot of older games like Fallout 4 and Skyrim/ league of legends anyways so a higher end build is probably overkill haha. As long as it runs stuff like mentioned well I havent got any...
Thanks for your help Scott, I will follow your guidance!
The GPU not being the 1660 TI in particular isn't a big deal?
And also the CPU, would there be much point in going for the Ryzen 7 instead of 5? So that when I upgrade the GPU and monitor later i wont need a massive CPU upgrade either...
Okay awesome, I wouldn't have known haha.
In terms of the GPU is there much difference between the regular 1660 or the TI?
And for the CPU should I consider going for the Ryzen 7 Eight core instead? So that when I eventually upgrade the GPU to support 4k it'll perform better?
Thanks for your reply! As of right now I would rather get a higher end PC with a better graphics card like a RTX 2060 Super as a minimum, and then towards the end of the year be able to splash out on a better monitor, so £1500 is more an idea of the budget for the PC alone and then money for a...
Good morning all!
I've been gaming on my Asus Roggl752vw laptop for the past few years and it's not really cutting it anymore.
I would love to buy a new Gaming Desktop in the next few months, I have a vague knowledge on the best CPUs and GPUs out right now, although I'm no expert, would love...
Hi there
I'm thinking of buying a new PC and I'm trying to figure out if I really need to buy an SSD considering I already have one. Obviously for my new system the new operating system would be installed on the new SSD. So I guess the question is.. Is there any real harm in having a second SSD?
