I think this is the AMD build (including the extras you have picked) that would probably fit best and about £100 cheaper... Case PCS SR-628B RGB GAMING CASE Processor (CPU) AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Eight Core CPU (3.6GHz-4.4GHz/36MB CACHE/AM4) Motherboard ASUS® TUF X570-PLUS GAMING (USB 3.2 Gen 2...

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Help on build

Hi there, That's a nice budget to have, you can definitely splash out a bit on some nice things! Below is a good starting point.. Good CPU for compiling code, fast boot M.2 drive, 1TB storage drive and a fairly decent GPU that should handle those games absolutely fine! You can customize it if...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Check out gaming-work laptop build

Do you have a budget? I personally would recommend the following changes: 1. Changed the RAM to 16GB (2 x 8GB sticks) 2. Change 1st Storage to a 1TB HD (For large file storage such as games) 3. Add a M.2 drive for OS and programs (256 or 512GB depending on requirements) fast booting and...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST First PC for gaming

Good morning, Does that budget include the monitor, mouse and keyboard or do you already have those components? If you already have the monitor, it would be good to understand what resolution/refresh rate it is... Do you have a model number?

    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Check this spec!

Hi There, What kind of work do you do on this PC... Is it just normal 'Office' type application? If its just normal office type applications i would put the money into other components over the GTX 1650 GPU you have chosen... For example, for fast startup times you should really switch to a...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST New Photo Editing PC Specificatoion

I would say light video editing should be fine on that system... with bigger projects you might need more RAM and for higher performance of encoding/scrubbing (Certainly in Adobe apps) a more powerful GPU with CUDA (NVIDIA) would definitely be better, but at that point you're pushing your budget...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Cant find rgb header

What Motherboard does it have? If you can identify the motherboard model then you can download the manual form the manufactures website. It would usually be a 4-pin header labeled as 'RGB_HEADER' if it has one. Maybe someone here already knows the motherboard it has :D ?

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST First PC Build Feedback

I'm running the 3900X here right now, It's an absolute beast at chomping through renderings in Adobe Dimension... Unfortunately i don't use Unreal engine so can't comment on the performance of the RTX 2070 Super for that.

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST First PC Build Feedback

A couple of things... You're going to get more bang for your buck with an AMD processor for sure! Something like the Ryzen 3800X might be a better option and should save you a few quid so you could improve the AIO cooler. Did you intend to not include the Operating System? I'm not sure if the...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST Pc for Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro

My only comment would be to suggest you look at a AMD Ryzen 9 3950X build for pure CPU power, I recently got a 3900X system here and i'm blown away with the CPU power of the new Gen 3 Ryzen! It should blow that Intel CPU out the water! I'm sure the other more experienced 'pros' will come in...

PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST 1st custom computer for complete newbie!

I use Adobe CC suite quite a lot at my work and some at home, most the Adobe applications i use do actually benefit from a more powerful GPU (including Photoshop) and the video rendering can use Nvidia CUDA. At home i'm running with a slightly older GTX 1060 so if your budget allows i would...
